We are excited for the Lenny Peters Cup event Saturday, October 24 at Oak Hollow Lake in High Point! This event brings together thousands of visitors from the Triad and beyond. Historically, about 70 percent of attendees come from other states, and the event contributes more than $2.5 million in economic impact. More than that is the sense of community, camaraderie and, yes, competition! The Lenny Peters Cup will feature food trucks, a dog competition and, all new this year, dragon boat races featuring local teams — including a team of firefighters! It’s family-friendly fun with free admission that is sure to be another memorable event celebrating our community, Oak Hollow Lake and the young rowers who make the Lenny Peters Cup such a special occasion.
