Thousands will come together for the High Point Autumn Rowing Festival on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Oak Hollow Lake. Once again, the Dr. Lenny Peters Cup will be a featured event.
Up to 1,000 rowers will compete in youth, collegiate and adult races, with participants from surrounding states and international teams. University crews from Scotland, England, and four additional countries will compete against leading American rowers. The free, open-to-the-public event will also include VIP hospitality, a beer garden, food trucks, and a dog show. The Lenny Peters Cup is one of North Carolina’s premier international sporting events, attracting thousands of spectators and generating an estimated $2.6+ million in annual economic impact for the Piedmont Triad.
