Dear Lenny,

Thank you for the donation to the 27th Annual Oyster Roast -Safe at Home campaign, helping fund programs of Family Service of the Piedmont in the High Point community. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. We are sorry to have missed you for an in-person event this year, but enjoyed seeing those that participated in the “Oyster Roast Drive-Thru” on March 5th at the amazing Congdon Yards. We are immensely grateful for the support of friends like you, which surpassed all expectations and raised $252,000 to support services High Point children and families rely on, including:

  • Carpenter House domestic violence shelter, providing safety, therapy and court advocacy for battered women and their children;
  • Hope House Children’s Advocacy Center, coordinating the investigation and treatment of child sexual abuse;
  • Individual and Family Counseling for victims of depression, grief, anxiety, relationship· problems or substance addiction;
  • Consumer Credit Counseling Service providing free credit and budget counseling, debt management and foreclosure prevention.

Thank you for sharing our agency’s commitment to building safe and healthy families in High Point.
